This project included relocation of Wescott Park in the City of Cherokee.  At it’s previous location, Wescott Park flooded regularly causing significant damage to the park.  The new Wescott Park is located North of Highway 3 near the Cherokee Middle School and the new Elementary School.  Improvements consisted of new baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, parking lot, restrooms, driveways, and other related items of work. The project was primarily funded through FEMA Disaster Relief funds with a local match.
