CITY OF SPIRIT LAKE SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT

EXISTING PIPE

CONSTRUCTED CURED-IN-PLACE PIPP LINER
Project Description
The project was designed and constructed in 2021 and involved the design and inspection of 2,934 linear feet of a Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) Liner to be installed inside the existing sanitary sewer gravity main, pressure testing and chemical grouting of the sanitary sewer service connections. All of this work was completed by accessing the sanitary sewer mains and services from above ground through the manholes. The process was completed without having to excavate within the streets or lawns, which provides a significant cost savings and significantly less disruption. The process also results in improvements with minimal interruption to sewer flows and service usage.
