The project was designed in 2022 and was constructed in 2023. The project involved the construction of a 10-foot-wide concrete, multi-use recreational trail that is 1.3 miles in length and connects to the existing recreational trail. It is located on the east side of Sheldon between US Highway 60, Sunflower Avenue and Prairie Trail Road. Beck Engineering completed the civil engineering and surveying services for the project. The civil site work includes side grading, trail construction, storm sewer improvements, erosion control, and other related items of work.
