This project was designed in 2021 and constructed in 2022 as a partnership between the Sheldon Community School District and Northwest Iowa Community College.  The project involved construction of a new field turf activities field and other related items.  The project replaced the existing grass surface and improved drainage on the field.  This project supports the existing activities of both the Sheldon Community School District and Northwest Iowa Community College in addition to allowing Northwest Iowa Community College to launch a new soccer program.  The project had an estimated construction value of approximately $1.15 million.
