The project was designed in 2023 with construction scheduled to begin in the summer of 2023. The project includes upgrading the baseball and softball facilities, as well as reconstructing a portion of the parking lot for the HMS School District in Hartley, Iowa. Beck Engineering, Inc. completed the civil engineering and surveying services for new bleachers with a press box, dugouts, bullpens, batting cages, infield and warning track infill material, fencing, and ADA compliant sidewalk routes. The parking lot includes upgrading the storm sewer system, grading, and reconfigured parking layout on new concrete parking lot surfacing.
