This project was a complete reconstruction of 13^th Street/A34 in Milford, Iowa, and a joint venture between the City of Milford, Milford Municipal Utilities, and Dickinson County. The project involved utility upgrades with the roadway reconstruction between 213^th Avenue and Okoboji Avenue/Highway 71. The design included storm sewer and water distribution system improvements, grading, paving a 31-foot concrete roadway with driveway connections and a 10-foot concrete recreational trail, erosion control and other associated items of work along 4,400 linear feet section of roadway. The project funding partnership included federal funds through Iowa’s FAST Act, with local contributions by the City of Milford, Milford Municipal Utilities, and Dickinson County. The project was completed in the fall of 2024.
