GRANTS DUE IN DECEMBER

  • Federal Airport Improvement Program (IA) – Airports included in the National Plan of Integrated Airports (NPIAS) are eligible to apply for federal Airport Improvement Program (AIP) funds. General aviation and small commercial service airports are required to submit preapplications for federal AIP funding through the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Modal Transportation Bureau – Aviation, including projects funded with nonprimary entitlement funds. For more information, click here. Applications are due by November 19 and December 19, 2025.
  • Higher Bends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP) – This provides funding to help fuel stations, convenience stores, and other transportation fueling facilities expand or install infrastructure for higher blends of renewable fuels, such as ethanol and biodiesel. The program supports equipment upgrades, including pumps, storage tanks, and related systems that increase consumer access to renewable fuel options. For more information, click here. Applications are due by December 31, 2025. 
  • T-Mobile Hometown Grant Program – Applications open now through the end of December. Grants up to $50,000 to towns with populations under 50,000 for projects that build, rebuild, or refresh community spaces. Funded project examples: adaptive reuse of historic buildings, park/trail improvements, public library tech upgrades. For more information, click here. Applications are due by December 31, 2025.
  • Good Life Transformational Projects Act (NE) – Purpose is to promote and develop the general and economic welfare of Nebraska projects that will attract new industries and employment opportunities and further grow and strengthen Nebraska’s retail, entertainment, and tourism industries. For more information, click here. Applications are due by December 31, 2026.
