This project involves the design, survey, supervision of bid letting, contract administration, construction staking, and inspection of a recreational trail on the northeast side of Big Spirit Lake in Dickinson County, Iowa.  The project was a joint effort funded by the Dickinson County Trails Board, the Iowa Department of Transportation, the Okoboji Foundation, and Wellmark.

The project involved constructing a recreational trail that is approximately 1 mile in length and navigates through the Jones Pasture neighborhood with a scenic path near Big Spirit Lake and adjacent to several constructed wetlands.  The project was designed in 2018-19 and was constructed in 2019.
