MILFORD - H AVENUE
Project Description
This project included reconstruction of H Avenue from 6th Street to 10th Street in the City of Milford, Iowa. The project consisted of removal of the existing street and underlying infrastructure, construction and upsizing of the sanitary sewer main, construction and upsizing of new water main, construction and upsizing of the storm sewer, grading, construction of a new sidewalk, installation of new street lights, and paving of a new concrete street. The project required a large amount of coordination with the property owners and the Okoboji School District. The project was awarded and partially funded by a $600,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The project was constructed in 2015 and had a total project cost of approximately $2 million.
