Fall has been full of opportunities for the BEI team to get together, connect with others, and spend time in the communities we call home. From homecoming parades to professional events and an afternoon at the bowling alley, here’s a look at what our people have been up to.
Out and About in Our Communities
Our team and their families joined the homecoming celebrations in Okoboji, Spirit Lake, and Cherokee this fall. It’s always fun to see familiar faces along the parade routes and take part in traditions that bring our communities together.
The Spirit Lake office also continued its annual tradition of helping clean up Dickinson County Trails. Spending time outdoors together while caring for the trails is one more way our team enjoys giving back locally.
Making Connections
Our team has been busy making connections this fall! Tim and Landon attended the South Dakota Municipal League conference, while Tim and Lauren joined the Iowa League of Cities conference.
Ashlee and Mackenzie also spent time at the AIA Iowa Annual Convention, connecting with others in the architecture industry.
Our team also met students at career fairs at Dordt University and South Dakota State University. We enjoyed hearing about their interests, answering questions, and sharing a little about the people and work behind BEI.
Team Updates & Friendly Competition
Our team came together for our fourth-quarter company meeting and an afternoon of bowling! It was a great opportunity to catch up on company updates, spend time with coworkers, and enjoy a little friendly competition. Between the updates, strikes, and plenty of laughs, it was a fun way to bring everyone together outside the office.
From community events to team activities, it’s been a busy fall for the BEI team. We’re looking forward to more opportunities to connect and make memories together!
