This vibrant and innovative playground provides opportunities for adventure, imagination, and inclusive play for the entire community of Denison. The unique combination of play equipment replaced a cherished wooden playground in the heart of the community, and offers exciting challenges and hours of fun for kids of all ages and abilities.

The playground project, designed in collaboration with ABCreative, includes a combination of Berliner and Burke play pieces on accessible surfacing, a 2-bay zipline, walking paths, parking and utility upgrades, and a drinking fountain. The playground, completed in 2024, represents the first phase of proposed improvements in Washington Park.
