This project was designed in 2014 and constructed in 2015 and involved construction of a new all-weather track surface, new bleachers, new lights, new sidewalk, new fencing, and field turf. The project gave the Sioux Central Community School District their first all-weather track surface. Prior to the project, the track team utilized city streets for track practice. The project was part of a bond referendum that also funded a new gym, special education wing, parking lot, and other necessary improvements. The project had a construction value of approximately $2 million.
